Week of July 20·NYC + Austin·10 plans

Plans,
not profiles.

Post what you're already doing this week. A few neighbors join you. That's the whole app.

Free to browse. You can even write your plan before signing up.

How it works

Three steps to an actual plan.

01

Write your plan

In your own words. Specific place, specific time. No event form, no category dropdown.

02

A neighbor reaches out

A real message from someone nearby who read what you wrote and wants to come along.

03

You meet

A few people, one thing, no pressure. You were already going. Now you're not going alone.

Common questions

Asked and answered.

What is Stoop?

Stoop is a neighborhood noticeboard for plans. You post something you are already doing this week, in your own words, and up to three neighbors can join you. No profiles to browse, no feed to scroll.

How do I make friends on Stoop?

Post a real plan (coffee before work, a park run, a gallery visit) or message someone else's. You meet in person, in a small group, over the thing itself. Most friendships here start as one ordinary Tuesday plan.

What kinds of plans do people post?

Coffee, runs and pickup sports, food, arts, books, live music, time outdoors. If you were going to do it anyway, it belongs on Stoop.

Where does Stoop work?

New York City and Austin, neighborhood by neighborhood. Every plan is local: posted by someone who lives nearby, happening somewhere you can walk or train to.

Is Stoop free?

Yes. Posting plans and joining them is free.

Is it safe to meet people from Stoop?

Every member verifies a real phone number, groups are capped at four people, plans happen in public places, and blocking and reporting are built in. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

The best plans are
three blocks away.

Post yours this week. See which neighbors turn up.
